We were commissioned by Scottish Natural Heritage to evaluate the potential options for maintaining a chough roost site on the isle of Islay.

Choughs are a designated feature for several SSSIs on the island and maintaining their roost sites is an important part of supporting the bird population.  We looked at the various options for a chough roost site in an agricultural building which had fallen into disrepair, providing a report which enabled SNH to consider their next management steps.
